Adult patients:

Between 8am and 6pm, Mon - Fri:

Seen by the consult serice.

Refer to 6-2984 (between 5P and 6P, consult requests will be handled by Emergency Coverage Resident)

Outside of these hours:

Urgent consults are seen by the APS Resident.

Any consults done by the APS resident after-hours or on weekends should be phoned to the Consult Service for follow-up by using the direct message line for the Consult Service: 4-1528.

Nonurgent consults may be referred to voice mail at 6-2984.

Child patients:

All consults requested by the inpatient wards for patients under 18 years old should be done by the Child Psychiatry Consultation Service. Call 6-2727 during the day and after hours use the on-call schedule posted in the APS. The Child Fellows are first call for the APS weekdays from 8A to 5P (call 6-2727), and after hours, per schedule in APS.

Please call the child psychiatrist on-call to the APS for all Children 10 years old or younger.
